TENETS OF FATIH

Section 1.  The Bible is the Inspired Word of God.  It is the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to reason and conscience, but not contrary to reason.  2 Tim. 3:15-16; 1 Pet. 2:2


Section 2. “The Trinity”.  We believe that God is Three.  “The Father” “The Son” “The Holy Ghost.”  Unity in Trinity and Trinity in Unity, neither confusing the Persons nor as yet separating their substance as Deity.


Section 3.  The Fall of Man.  By voluntary transgression man spiritually and physically fell, and his hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ.  Rom. 5:12-21


Section 4.  The Salvation of Man.  It is of absolute necessity that man be born again before he can live a holy life or to enter heaven itself.  Titus 2:11; John 3:7


Section 5.  Baptism in Water.  We believe it to be observed by immersion in water, and according to the formula laid down by our Lord Jesus in Matt. 28:19.


Section 6.  The Lord’s Supper.  The Lord’s Supper consisting of the elements of Bread and the Fruit of the Vine, symbolizing His suffering and earth and prophecy of His coming again.  To be observed at reasonable times.


Section 7.  The Baptism of the Holy Spirit.  All believers are entitled to the Pentecostal experience; for it was the normal experience of the early Christian church.  And that this Bible experience it witnessed by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.  Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians. 12:4-10; Acts 10 and 19


Section 8.  The Church.  It is the body of Christ, the wondrous habitation of God through the Spirit.  Each born again believer is an integral part of the General Assembly which is the church of the first born which are written in heaven.  Heb. 12:23; Eph. 4:11


Section 9.  Divine Healing.  Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement, and is the privilege of all believers.  Isa. 53:4; Matt. 8:16


Section 10.  The Second Coming.  The Lord will come for His saints (1 Thes. 4:16) again to return with His saints (Jude 14) to reign a thousand years on the earth (Rev. 20:1-7).


Section 11.  The Lake of Fire and the New Heaven and New Earth.  Satan, and those whose names are not found in the Book of Life shall be cast into the Lake of Fire (Rev. 20:10-15) but the saints look for a New Heaven and New Earth.  2 Peter 3:13; Rev. 21 and 22
